PBR: Why did you choose Iowa Western CC?
I chose Iowa Western because I know they have a winning tradition and have a good track record when it comes to sending guys off to bigger places.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
I was also considering Hutchinson CC, Barton CC, and Washburn University.
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
I’m not sure when the first the staff saw me was. I was contacted at the beginning of August and went on a visit right before school started. Throughout the last month the coaches have stayed in contact and have developed a great relationship.
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
There was a few things. One thing was the rich tradition that they have developed over the years and I knew that was something I wanted to be apart of. Another thing was the facilities. I was in awe when I saw their new indoor facility and plans for a new locker room.
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
My parents. They have made a ton of sacrifices driving me all around and getting me to where I need to be. They also push me to be the best I can be both in sports and life in general.
PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
My most memorable baseball moment was playing with the Sluggers this past summer. It was a great time playing with guys who all have the same goals which is getting to the next level.
PBR: Who is the best player you have competed against?
I have played against a lot of great players so I’m not sure who the best one is. I’m sure the best has yet to come.
