Underclass spotlights are quick stories on individual players who have complete Prep Baseball profiles.  The Prep Baseball scouting staff will share insights on the players, with video, notes, and analytics, giving back ground as to why these players have created some buzz, or why they should be followed into the upcoming season.

UNDERCLASS SPOTLIGHT: Wilson Aubut

Aubut burst on to the scene at the PBR All-State Central showcase. Using a long arm swing and a low effort delivery, Aubut pounded the zone during the event. Showcasing a fastball in the upper 80's topping out at 89.2 with life up in the zone. With his long arm action the CH has a chance to be a plus pitch with deception and arm speed. The CH working in the 67-69 range has some ASR also shows the ability to command around the zone. The BB has good shape and tilt to it using low spin and working 67-69 range. As he contiunes to mature and learn to throw the BB/CH firmer the stuff will continue to tick up.
