As we get near the end of the fall semester, there are not a lot of left handed hitters still on the board, that could impact a college lineup when they arrive on campus.  Peyton Clay may have that ability.  The 6'0", 190lb outfielder has feel for the barrel and showed quickness running a 7.09 sixty on the laser, including a 3.91 thirty yard split.

SCOUT NOTES: CAROLINA SR GAMES EAST (10.15.23)
5-0 190 pounds. Left hand hitter. Hit balls off the barrel to both gaps during his BP rounds. Quick hands with a flat barrel path through the zone. Peak exit velocity at 90.5 mph with an max distance of 341 feet. 

SCOUT NOTES: C35 SCOUT DAY (10.11.23)
Athletic presence at 6-foot, 190 pounds. Showed quickness running a 7.09 with a 3.91 thirty. Left handed hitter has easy rhythm with an early load.  Simple launch position creates a direct path with some uphill leverage through contact.  Good bat speed.  Average barrel awareness.  Max exit velocity at 94.1mph.
