Prep Baseball Scouts were on hand at DPC Baseball Academy in Clayton, NC on August 14th for the final open ID event of the summer, the Triangle Summer ID.  The event gave high school players a chance to update their stats, analytics, and video as their summer season comes to an end.  The event was run in conjunction with the DPC Scout Day at DPC Baseball Academy.  The facility allowed players a chance to run through a full workout on an outdoor facility with access to the indoor area as needed.

The day began with a laser timed 60 followed by an offensive rotation and evaluation.  TrackMan tracked ball flight throughout the multiple rounds of BP taken on the field.  Following BP, players worked out at their defensive positions.  Pitchers then threw controlled bullpens.  Each player filled their personal Prep Baseball Scout Day with a head shot, stats, advanced analytics, and there will be a full workout video added in the coming week to 10 days.

Triangle Summer ID: Quick Hitters Position Players

Judah Cannon OF / SS / Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill, NC / 2026    Lanky athlete with leverage in the swing. Exit velos peaked in the upper 80's. Arn peaked at 75 MPH from the outfield.

Lane Collier 3B / East Wake Academy, NC / 2027 Physical frame behind the plate. Posted POP times ranging 2.22-2.36 with a velo of 71 MPH. Showed above average bat speed up to 76 MPH. Exit velo maxed at 88 MPH.

Genaro Hernandez 3B / Cleveland, NC / 2026 Gap to Gap approach in the box worked to stay inside the ball. Exit velo topped at 90.2 MPH with a average exit velo of 84.7 MPH. Arm topped at 79 across the diamond.

Caleb Johnson OF / 1B / Bunn, NC / 2026 LHH. Athletic and balanced in the box. Barrel feel sweet spot percentage of 72%. Exit velo maxed at 92.6 MPH with average exit  velo of 88.8 MPH.

Owen Mitchell C / RHP / Bunn, NC / 2026 Physical build behind the plate. Posted POP times 1.97-2.26. Bat Sped and Power potential are present. Exit velo topped at 95.4 MPH with a max distance of 375 ft.

Gavin Mosler C / 3B / Millbrook, NC / 2027 Tall frame behind the dish with athletic hips and transfer. POP times ranged 2.09-2.19 with a velo of 76 MPH. LHH with rhythm in the box.

Thad Parker SS / 2B / Cleveland, NC / 2027 Has feel and ability to manipulate barrel in the box. Above average bat speeds help produce exit velos in the upper 80's. Arm peaked at 75 across the diamond

Thomas Piscorik SS / RHP / Wakefield, NC / 2028 Good actions with soft hands in the field arm peaked at 80 MPH. In the box works to get extension driving balls through middle of field. Exit velos peaked in upper 80's.

Brady Robinson OF / RHP / Sanderson, NC / 2026 Athletic mover posted a 6.91 60 yard dash. Feel for the barrel with the ability to drive the ball to both gaps. Exit velo peaked at 93.2 MPH with a average exit velo of 86.7 MPH.

Carter Wall RHP / 1B / Corinth Holders, NC / 2026 Simple approach in the box working through the middle of the field. Exit velo peaked at 86.2 MPH.  Arm topped at 80 across the diamond.

Hayden Waller OF / LHP / Southern Wayne, NC / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 59 / POS: 14 LHH. Athletic in the box with a direct flat bat path to the ball. Plus bat speed (80.3 MPH) help generate exit velos in the low 90's. Posted a 6.85 60.
