Cackovic stars in two sports at Holly Springs HS.  In preparation for his 2023 baseball season, he showed up at the 1st Preseason All-State event in Charlotte and flooded the zone from his 6-foot-7 frame.  That bullpen, plus his spring season, earned Jake an invitation to join Team Carolina at the 2023 PBR Future Games.  His outing at LakePoint created a ton of buzz and eventually the righty committed to North Carolina.
