It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our first update to the Va/DC Class of 2025 rankings with our Top 25 release. Following today's Top 25 release, we will unveil the Top 50 on Tuesday, and the Top 125 on Wednesday. We will finish up state rankings week on Thursday with some new faces and risers in the class.
Staying put at #1 is Donavan Jeffrey (Manchester). Jeffrey had a huge summer in front of our staff at events like the Underclass State Games, 16U Summer Championships, and capped it all off with a stellar week at Future Games.

‘25 Donavan Jeffrey (VA) losing a plethora of balls to left and center. EASY juice (1st hit is 103 off bat ?)
Athletic and balanced throughout with obvious power potential.

Checking in at #9 is newly committed Virginia Tech commit, Ethan Ball. The McLean infielder jumped onto the scene when our staff was out to see the Highlanders. The bat really stood out when facing some higher level arms and had some advanced at bats for a freshman.

Above average runner w/ advanced feel for barrel. Had a big spring for McLean and continues to produce. @PBRVirginiaDC @ShooterHunt #PBRVADCUnderclass pic.twitter.com/nbw6FauO6l
A new name to the Top 25 is Myles Upchurch (St. Alban's). Upchurch has an electric arm with life on the low-mid 80's fastball and feel for secondary. We saw Upchurch in early June, he has since committed to the University of Maryland.
