TrackMan Analytics: TPA Pitchers
June 24, 2021
PBR of North Carolina was on hand for a scout day with the TPA Organization at Jim Perry Stadium on the campus of Campbell University. The scout day featured players from the 2022-2024 classes with a total of 41 players working out throughout the day.
The day started with catchers going through their defensive workout making throws to second base with the radar gun measuring velocity and scouts grading accuracy and carry. Then pitchers threw a controlled bullpen of 15-20 pitches with Trackman collecting ball flight data. After the bullpens players ran a laser timed 60 followed by batting practice on the field with Trackman gathering ball flight information. Infielders and outfielders went through a defensive workout to finish the day. Below we take a look at some of the numbers recorded during the workout.
