St. Stephens- 6  East Lincoln- 5

The East Lincoln Mustangs played host to the St. Stephens Indians in an important Western Foothills 3A matchup. The Indians came into the game undefeated with the Mustangs looking to bounce back from their first loss of the year earlier in the week. 

Silas Isenhour started the top of the 2nd with a leadoff double down the left field line and would score later in the inning giving St. Stephens the early lead. A deep East Lincoln lineup showed its power in the bottom of the third when Garrett Michel and Gavin Houser launched back to back homeruns. The Mustangs would add another that inning on an Evan Matile base hit. 

The Mustangs would add 2 more in the 4th and take a 5-1 lead into the 6th inning. Indians leadoff hitter Elec Marvin started the 6th with a double to right, beginning a rally that would lead to a 4 run inning and a tie game. Marvin leadoff the 7th with a walk and would later score on a Julien Peissel line drive single to right giving the Indians a 6-5 lead. Josh Barkley closed the game out for St. Stephens working 3.1 innings in relief and not allowing a run.
