Southeast Unsigned SR Games: Quick Hitters-Team Carolina Hitters

The Southeast Unsigned Senior Games took place on July 27th at LakePoint in Emerson, GA. The event featured some of the top 2022 uncommitted prospects from across the southeast.
Team Carolina was composed of players from North and South Carolina. Players began their day going a full pro-style workout running a laser timed 60, defensive workout at their primary position and live BP with Trackman and Blast collecting offensive analytics. Following the workout players played 14 innings of live baseball with pitchers throwing 2 innings each.
Team Carolina was well represented with several players putting up numbers in the workout and performing well in the live game action. Below we take a look at the top number posted in several categories throughout the day from Team Carolina.

QUICK HITTERS
Alex Levesque, C/1B, 2022, Corinth Holders
Strong, athletic build at 6-foot, 170-pounds. Barrel gets extension out front working through the middle and to his pull side in BP. Exit velocity topped at 94 mph. Barreled a ball up the middle for a base hit in game action. Has arm strength from behind the plate with his throws topping at 82 mph. Hips have looseness, works to block dirt balls.
Ethan Goldstein, SS/RHP, 2022, Durham Academy
5-foot-9, 175-pound build. Left hand hitter with a fluid swing. Launched some balls to his pull side leaving the yard at times. Some lift to the swing path, stays through the ball out front. Exit velocity reached 94 mph in BP. Lined a ball to left for a base knock in game play.
Thomas Bowman, OF, 2022, Wesleyan Christian
Athleticism and quickness present in a 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame. Ran the fastest 60-time of the event at 6.51. Left hand hitter with feel for his barrel, lined balls to both gaps in BP. Hands have strength and quickness. Top exit velocity at 94 mph. Arm topped at 86 mph from the outfield.
Elijah Jordan, C/1B, 2022, Heritage
Strength present in a 6-foot, 190-pound frame. The left hand hitter lined balls to both sides of the field during BP. Barrel stays through the zone out front. Ball off his barrel peaked at 90 mph. Drove a double to left field during game action. Aggressive approach with strike zone awareness. Arm topped at 77 mph from behind the plate.
Tyler Roakes, 3B/2B, 2022, Carmel Christian
5-foot-11, 180-pound build. Hands have strength with some lift to the swing path. Worked through the middle and to his pull side in BP. Exit velocity topped at 89 mph. Fluid actions on the infield.
Alex Steckler, RHP/OF, 2022, Olympic
6-foot, 174-pound build. Fluid, simple swing in BP using the whole field. Barrel gets extension through the middle of the field. Top exit velocity at 91 mph. Lined a ball to right in game play with a flat swing path. Arm peaked at 88 mph from the outfield.
Regan Bernard, C/1B, 2022, Middle Creek
Strong, athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Has looseness to his swing with a middle of the field approach. Ball off his barrel peaked at 92 mph in BP. Best pop time at 1.98 in the workout. Hands work with some ease to receive and moves to block balls in the dirt.
Jordan Overton, C/OF, 2022, Rolesville
Strong build at 6-foot-1, 205-pounds. Posted the top exit velocity of the event at 103 mph. Fluid swing with tons of hard contact in BP. Gap to gap approach with above average bat speed. Barreled a ball through the 6-hole in game action. Aggressive baserunner. Best workout pop time at 2.00. Ran a 7.13 60 on the lasers.
Nicholas Reiss, 1B/RHP, 2022, Franklinton
Large frame at 6-foot-3, 220-pounds. Balanced approach lining balls to both gaps during BP. Hands have strength with a flatter barrel path. Made hard contact in BP with his top exit velocity at 99 mph.
William Sword, RHP/SS, 2022, Thales Academy
Strong build at 6-foot-1, 210-pounds. Hands are quick with a short path to the ball. Hit several balls off his barrel with a gap to gap approach. Exit velocity peaked at 89 mph. Best workout pop time recorded at 1.99. Has arm strength across the infield with his throws topping at 89 mph.
