Southeast Senior Games - Team Carolina 1st Look

Monday July 25th saw the 2nd annual Southeast Senior Games at LakePoint in Emerson, Ga.  For the 2nd straight year, a team of uncommitted seniors from North Carolina and South Carolina created Team Carolina.  Last year’s event saw a high number of commitments after the workout and game play.  With a great turnout of college coaches, we can expect more of the same from the 2022 event.

The day opened with the eight regions going through a pro-style workout, with live BP on the field.  After the workout, each region played two 7 inning games with controlled innings by PBR Scouts.  The innings were controlled to ensure scouts saw what they needed from pitchers and hitters, but worked to eliminate any unneeded stress on the pitchers involved.

Below we take a look at the Team Carolina roster and some of the numbers posted at the 2022 Southeast Senior Games.  In the coming days, there will be more leaderboards, player notes and summaries as the videos from the event post.
