Player of the Week nominations are submitted by High School coaches across North Carolina each week.  Along with the nominations, Prep Baseball Report is diving into box scores, talking to coaches and scout, and attending as many games as possible. 

The North Carolina Player of the Week for March 6 – 12 is Junior RHP, Owen White of Carson HS.  White, coming off a good performance in week one, was electric in week two firing a no-hitter, in a complete game 2-0 win over East Rowan, facing the minimum number of hitters of his seven innings.

  + Faced the minimum 21 hitters, striking out 8, and walking 2
  + Recorded an RBI in the game as well

  + Added another hit and 2 RBI’s in the 2^nd game of the week   

Along with White’s performance, there were some other dominant weeks from players across North Carolina.  Highlighted below are some of the standout performances.

AJ Wilson, RHP, East Surry HS, 2019 (East Carolina commit)
  + 6 IP, 16 K's, 1 hit in 6-0 win over North Surry
  + Batted .333 on the week with 3 runs scored, 3 RBI, and 1 HR

MacKenzie Gore, LHP/1B, Whiteville HS, 2017 (East Carolina commit)
  + 6.2 IP – 0 Runs, 3 Hits, 10 K’s, and 0 BB’s vs. West Columbus
  + 2-5 with a triple and homer.  Scored 3 runs, had 3 RBI’s and a stolen base

  + 2 Appearances on the mound
  + Win – 6 IP, 14 K's, 0 BB, 3 H, 0 Runs

Ben Miller, 2B/RHP, Durham Jordan HS, 2019
  + At the plate this week – 7-11, 6 RBI, 2 2B, and 1 3B
  + Win – 6.1 IP, 4 Hits, 8 K’s, 0 Runs
  + Save – 1 IP, 1 Hit, 0 ER, 2 K

Anthony Castellano, OF, Chapel Hill, 2018
  + 2 Games:  4-4 with 9 RBI’s, HR, 2 Doubles, 2 SAC Fly, 1 BB

Jordan Goco, RHP/1B, West Forsyth HS, 2018
  + 4 innings pitched, 9 Ks, 0 BBs
  + 3-7, 1 double, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 BBs

Landen Harris, RHP, South View HS, 2019
  + Complete game shutout victory over Overhills HS.  Team won 5-0.
  + 7 IP, 1 hit, 1 BB, 5 K’s

Noah Jones, RHP, DH Conley, 2017 (East Carolina commit)
  + 5 innings, 1 hit, struck out 13
  + 2-3 at plate 

Connor Norby, SS/RHP, East Forsyth HS, 2018 (East Carolina commit)
  + 6-10 on the week with 3 doubles & 4 RBI's
  + Recorded a save on the mound

Aaron Beasley, LHP, Voyager Academy, 2018 (Duke commit)
  + One game this week versus Carrboro
  + 3-4, Homer shy of the cycle.  5 RBI's and 3 runs scored

Madisyn Bolin, RHP, Kings Mountain HS, 2017 (Catawba Valley CC commit)
  + 5.1 IP, 0 Runs, Struck out 12, Allowed 1 hit
  +  Struck out 8 in a row at one point in the 3-0 win over Draughn HS
