Baseball is a game that can bring about joy and heartbreak.  At its core, it is just a game.  In the world of year-round baseball, there are times where the joy can be lost on players, coaches, and administrators.  Many put in hard work, day after day, hoping to be one of the few that stands at the end having accomplished their goal. 

At the end of the fall season, as football prepares for its playoff run, and players begin to prepare for finals, there is one last tradition that most look forward to… The Fall World Series.  While programs may call it by a different name, and some may have rewards for winning, the ability to compete in a short series, for bragging rights within a team can bring the joy of the game back to the limelight.

This week, many programs across North Carolina will be playing their end of fall series, and announcing a champion.  Prep Baseball Report will be working to get to some of these games as we work to get a jump on our spring coverage.  College coaches and pro scouts may be out, crosschecking the talent on their list.  Below is a list of scheduled games from high schools that have sent PBR their end of fall schedule.  PBR will continue to update this list as more teams reach out.
