Grimsley Edges Rockingham in an Instant Classic
Game 3 of the day at the Greensboro Grasshoppers saw extra innings and several players stepping up to make big plays. In the end, Grimsley would use an 8th inning double from CJ Neese to position runners at 2nd and 3rd. After walking the bases loaded, Gus Hughes worked a 3-2 count into a walk-off walk and a 7-6 win over Rockingham County.

Landreth Fires No-No as Western Alamance Wins
Senior right hander Nathan Landreth threw a 5-inning no-hitter in Western Alamances 11-0 win over Reidsville. Landreth walked one, struckout 6, while only throwing 66 pitches.
Offensively, Western Alamance spread the wealth with 5 hitters recording multi-hit games and 7 hitters getting at least one hit. Austin St. Laurent singled 3 times in 3 at-bats, with 2 RBI and 2 Runs scored.
