November 19, 2020
PBR was on hand for the Knothole Foundation HBCU camp held at Tuckaseegee Park in Charlotte, NC on October 31st-November 1st. The event featured players from all over the country with several college coaches as well as pro scouts in attendance. Players went through a pro-style workout on Day 1 with Trackman being used during their batting practice rounds. Rain shortened day 2, but pitchers were able to throw controlled bullpens with Trackman being used to collect data. Highlighted below are position players who stood out during their pro-style workout.

Quick Hitters - Pitchers
Sam Justen, RHP, Asheville, 2021 - Strong, athletic build at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. Creates some deception with a short arm action working through a high ¾ release. Located his fastball at the bottom of the zone working to his glove side at 84 mph. Fastball has arm side run. Changeup has run and sink at 74 mph. Breaking ball has 11/5 tilt at 73-75 mph. Quick arm and athleticism suggest jumps in the future.
Devin Pressley, RHP, Kings Mountain, 2021 - Athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. Still raw but has a quick arm and shows flashes of projection with more time on the mound. Slow tempo to his delivery with an over the top slot. Fastball sits at 81-82 mph. Has feel for his breaking ball with 11/5 tilt at 70-72 mph.
