High Risers in the Updated NC 2020 Rankings
September 3, 2018
Last week PBR of North Carolina released the updated class of 2020 rankings for the state. The rankings were updated and expanded to the Top 125 players from across North Carolina. PBR’s staff spent countless hours at games, workouts, practices, and PBR events to continue to expand its coverage of the state and the 2020 class. Along with the state rankings, the Overall 2020 Rankings were released last week, expanded to the Top 500 with a heavy influence of NC players.
With each passing season, the clarity of the rankings process for each class can become more clear. Also with each passing season the work put in by players, as well as their natural maturation process creates some shake ups in the rankings. The process for the recent 2020 update was no different as many players saw their rankings adjust and over 30 new players climb into the rankings for the first time.
Today we are going to take a close look at several players who saw their stock rise since last April. The rankings provide a snapshot into the 2020 class that will obviously adjust with each season. These players took advantage of several opportunities to improve their player grade and move up in the updated 2020 NC Rankings.
