Uncommitted. Put together quality at-bats all weekend, but arguably the biggest day came on Monday of bracket play. In the semi-final game Ray launched a towering homerun that left the bat at 97 MPH and traveled 349 FT. Later in the Championship game the RHH came through with a backside knock that was 94 off the bat. Highlighting a mature all-fields approach at the plate that was on full display over the weekend. Produced quality swing after quality swing. Displayed a well-connected swing with strong wrists. A presence in the box with natural strength within the physical 6-foot-1, frame. Stays compact as the hands flow freely through the zone to deliver an accurate barrel. Easy rhythm in the box with advanced bat-to-ball skills. Pesky top of the order bat to keep an eye on, with added strength and size to come.

Cohen Rogers, LHP/OF, South Forsyth, 2025

Rogers stands an athletic 6-foot, 175-pounds and is an easy mover on the mound. Throws from a fluid ¾ arm-slot and deploys a three-pitch arsenal. The fastball sat 85-86 and topped at 87. Paired nicely off the fastball was the curveball that sat 73-75 and invited a heavy dose of swing-and-miss as the southpaw showed the ability to manipulate this pitch.
