On Saturday, Sept. 23, Prep Baseball Report is hosting its inaugural High School All-American Game at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. The unique event will feature the nation’s top high school seniors who are set to battle against a roster of the country’s best juniors in Class of 2024 vs. Class of 2025 action, giving pro scouts a unique look at current and future draft classes.

We’ve begun to unveil the event’s participants on our social media channels, and we’ll spotlight those players more closely on our site, too, highlighting past performances and scouting reports from the live looks we’ve gathered on this gifted group throughout the years.

Next we are highlighting Josh Hammond, a two-way player from North Carolina. The Wake Forest commit is a two-way player and is ranked within the top-20 players in the nation's 2025 class. On the mound, Hammond offers a high-spin profile with a low-90s fastball and a sweeping breaking ball that spins consistently above 2,600 RPMs. He is also a right-handed hitting infielder has plenty of bat speed, consistently spraying line drives with low-90 exit velocities. He flashed feel for the barrel, finding the sweet spot north of 50% and recording a 57% hard hit rate at a scout day last year. Hammond represented the Carolinas at the 2021 Junior Future Games, and just two years later he will take the stage in Milwaukee for the inaugural PBR All-American Game.
