HERNANDO, MS - The North MS/West TN Rising Stars ID was held on Saturday, March 30th at The Gatorade Fieldhouse in Hernando, MS. This event was an open event that consisted of some prospects from the 2028-2029 classes across all parts of Mississippi. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw bullpens and were able to get numbers and metrics via TrackMan. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing at the event.

Nasir Abrams, COLUMBUS MIDDLE SCHOOL (MS), 2029
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-3, 109-pounds. Lean, projectable frame
Delivery: Smooth tempo and repeatable. Could lengthen stride. Good direction to target.

Delivery: Quick, yet controlled tempo. Off line to 1B side cutting his upper half off. Some deception.
Arm Action: LH. Very long arm action

Delivery: Smooth tempo. Off line to 3B side. Good depth.

Tucker Elliott, MYRTLE ATTENDANCE CENTER (MS), 2029
Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 5-9, 135-pounds. Lean, projectable build
Delivery: Controlled tempo that gets a little faster as he moves down the mound. Slightly off line to 1B side. Good depth at release. Has upside on mound.
Arm Action: LH. Long arm action
FB: T74, 72-74 mph. In the zone though still gaining action T2226, 2167 average rpm.
CB: 66-67 mph. Solid spin numbers though still developing command T2432, 2330 average rpm.

Carter Flee, Houston High School (TN), 2029

Delivery: Easy, repeatable delivery. Slightly off line to first base side. Good depth at release. Flailing glove.

Jaxon Herod, WEST UNION ATTENDANCE CENTER (MS), 2028
Positional Profile: 2B/SS
Body: 6-1, 160-pounds. Tall, wiry frame
Delivery: Quicker yet controlled tempo with fairly good lines to target. Works down the mound well though could get more extension on fastball.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action
FB: T80, 76-79 mph. Good arm side run, developing command. T1727, 1604 average rpm.
SL: 68-70 mph. T1919, 1837 average rpm.
CH: 69-71 mph. Still developing feel for the strike zone. Has some upside. T1553, 1414 average rpm.

Delivery: Fluid tempo and repeatable. Could get longer into stride. Good direction to the plate.

Delivery: Controlled, repeatable tempo with good direction and depth at release. Has upside on the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Quick arm action. Fairly loose.
FB: T82, 81-82 mph. Has life though still developing feel for pitch. T2036, 1915 average rpm.
