North Pike returns 8 positional starters and a whooping 11 pitchers from a roster that finished 14-12 a year ago after a first round loss to Greene County in the 4A state playoffs. Head Coach Dustin Lott will be counting on that pitching depth to be a key component to the success of his Jaguars.
Top returners for North Pike include senior Nate Hughes (INF/OF), juniors Dominic Smith (INF/RHP) and Ty Jones (INF/P), along with freshman Grayson Reeves (UT/LHP).
The Jaguars will make the move to 5A this season with a tough district featuring Brookhaven, Florence, Natchez, and South Jones.
North Pike begins regular season play on February 13th versus Lawrence County.
