"Has emerged in to one of the top catching prospects in the 2025 class in Mississippi and on Tuesday and Wednesday we got an extended look at how much he has developed. Using quick feet and transfers, along with a strong arm (77 mph) from behind the plate Walker turned in solid pop times ranging from 1.91 to 2.09 with next level blocking and receiving skills. At the plate Walker keeps his hands inside the baseball well with a middle to opposite field line drive approach." -Matt Miller, State Director

Ethan Barnes C / SS / HERNANDO, MS / 2025
"Ethan Barnes of Lewisburg looks very mature on the infield. With exceptional footwork, a strong and consistent arm, and fluid movements, Barnes makes the SS position look easy. "Authement used his large 6-2, 240 pound frame to generate fastball velocities up to 87 mph on Saturday with solid arm side action. The right hander from Brookhaven is still developing his secondary offerings, though did show feel for a very well shaped downward moving breaking ball. Good footwork and lines on throws. Good body positioning on blocks and bunts. ATH: 7.43 runner in the 60. 24.00 max vertical.
"Harvey has definite next level upside at both the catching position and on the mound. The 6-0, 185 pounder from Seminary has shown considerable progression recently on the bump with a steadily climbing fastball that reached 87 mph in Starkville on Saturday. The arm path works well and more velocity could very well be on the way in the near future. Harvey had a solid round at the plate on Saturday with a middle to pull side, line drive approach while looking polished defensively behind the plate with pop times as low as 1.97." -Matt Miller, State Direcor
