CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi Senior Games was held on Sunday, September 29th at Clinton High School in Clinton, MS. This event was an open event that consisted of some of the top uncommitted prospects from the 2025 class across the state. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw during game play and were able to get numbers and metrics via TrackMan. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing at the event.

Maximus Bates, Vancleave (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 6-1, 153-pounds. Lean, high-waisted frame with room for added mass.
Delivery: Worked primarily from the stretch, longer stride down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Quicker arm action from various slots.
FB: Plays in the zone with heavy run to arm side.
SL: Showed some feel for the offering, late action with some depth.
ATH: 7.28 runner in the 60. 26.70 max vertical.

Ty Blakeney, Taylorsville (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: LHP/1B
Body: 6-2, 172-pounds. Lean frame, room for added strength and mass.
Delivery: Gathers at the belt, controlled tempo down the mound.
Arm Action: LH. Longer arm action from a lower 3/4 slot.
FB: Mostly straight with some run to arm side.
CB: 11-5 action, consistent break.
CH: fades to arm side with some depth.
ATH: 7.56 runner in the 60. 25.50 max vertical.

Weston Floyd, East Rankin Academy (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 6-1, 221-pounds. Larger, sturdy frame with present strength.
Delivery: Longer stride with a controlled tempo down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Longer, loose arm from the 3/4 slot.
FB: Located in the zone with some run to arm side.
CB: Developing pitch, showed signs of quality break.
CH: Plays well off FB, fades to arm side.
ATH: 8.29 runner in the 60.

Landon Holmes, Hernando (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 6-0, 215-pounds. Larger, proportional frame with some strength in the lower half.
Delivery: Controlled tempo down the mound with clean actions.
Arm Action: RH. Longer, whippy arm action from the higher 3/4 slot.
FB: Consistent location, runs to arm side.
CB: Located below the zone with consistent action.
SL: Tightly spun, late sharp action.
CH: Quality offering, fades to arm side with late depth.
SPLT: Late depth, showed some feel for the offering.
ATH: 7.80 runner in the 60. 22.50 max vertical.

Landon Hoshell, North Delta (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 6-2, 160-pounds. Athletic, proportional frame with some strength in the lower half.
Delivery: Hyrbrid start, controlled tempo with a larger stride down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Longer arm from the higher 3/4 slot.
FB: Consistent location, some run to arm side.
CB: 11-5 action with consistent depth.
CH: Developing pitch, quality change of speed.
ATH: 25.30 max vertical.

Wilkes Johnson, Madison Ridgeland Academy (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-2, 195-pounds. Larger, proportional frame with strength in the lower half.
Delivery: Quicker mover down the mound, lands on a solid front half.
Arm Action: RH. Quicker, stiff arm from the higher 3/4 slot.
FB: Plays in the zone with some run to arm side.
CB: Showed some feel, consistent action with depth.
CH: Fades to arm side with some depth.
ATH: 28.30 max vertical.

John Griffin Lane, Magnolia Heights (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-4, 180-pounds. Leaner, athletic frame with some room for added mass.
Delivery: Worked primarily out of the stretch, smooth tempo down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Whippy, quick arm action from the higher 3/4 slot.
FB: Consistently in the zone with run to the arm side.
CB: Tightly spun, 11-5 action with quality break.
SL: Plays well off the fastball, late action.
CH: Heavy fade to arm side with late depth.

Jaxson Moore, HARRISON CENTRAL (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-2, 270-pounds. Larger frame with present strength in the lower half.
Delivery: Consistent tempo with a longer stride down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Longer, quick arm action from the 3/4 slot.
FB: Located in the zone, mostly straight.
CB: Showed some feel for the offering, 11-5 shape.
SL: Later, sharp action with late depth.
CH: Lower spin, lots of late depth.

Sam Pike, St. Stanislaus (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 5-8, 153-pounds. Compact frame with some strength in the lower half.
Delivery: Hybrid start, quicker mover down the mound with a comfortable stride.
Arm Action: RH. Quicker, loose arm action from the 3/4 slot.
FB: Located to both sides of the plate with some run to arm side.
CB: Showed some feel for the offering, 11-5 action.
CH: Consistent fade to arm side.
ATH: 24.30 max vertical.

Luke Simmons, Brookhaven Academy (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: 2B/RHP
Body: 5-9, 151-pounds. Proportional frame, room for added mass.
Delivery: Primarily from the windup, consistent controlled tempo down the mound
Arm Action: RH. Shorter, clean arm from the higher 3/4 slot.
FB: Located in the zone, mostly straight.
CB: Sharp action with depth at the plate.
ATH: 6.85 runner in the 60. 31.50 max vertical.

Conner Timbs, Kirk Academy (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-11, 212-pounds. Larger, proportional frame with present strength in the lower half.
Delivery: Controlled tempo down the mound, lands on a firm front half.
Arm Action: RH. Longer, whippy arm action from the 3/4 slot.
FB: Located down in the zone, mostly straight.
CB: 11-5 action with late acition.
