The 2018 Overall Rankings will be updated soon, so The Hotlist takes a look at some players that have raised their stock recently.
T.J. Brock, SS/RHP, Cincinnati Country Day School, OH
Brock went from unranked to the top 10 in Ohio after a strong spring and impressive start to the summer campaign. He committed to Ohio State soon after the Top Prospect Games, where he showed his two-way ability. Brock is a long-limbed kid with room to fill out. He works fast and has obvious confidence in his ability on the mound. His arm is loose and quick. The fastball jumps out of his hand, ranging from 84-88 mph. He sits mostly 87-88 and was up to 93 in the spring. His breaking ball has true 12/6 shape, dropping off the table late at 75-77. He also shows feel for his changeup that has run and sink. At the plate, he has a balanced set-up and his loading sequence is fluid and creates energy. He swings with intent and the ball jumps off his bat with gap-to-gap power.
