Outlook
Coach Tyler Rogers and the Nanih Waiya Warriors come into 2018 looking to defend their 1A State Championship as they return a talented core from a season ago. Offensively, the Warriors will lean on INF Coley Taylor, who led the team in hitting in 2017. Looking to make a big impact on the mound this season will be Jake Kight who was 4-1 with a 1.60 ERA in 30 innings pitched. Expect two-way player Roper Ball (East Central CC signee) to provide a offensive spark from the top of the lineup, while also be a rock for the Warriors defensively.
