Outlook
After losing only 6 games a season ago and playing for a state title, Coach Jamie McMahon and the Admirals are primed to make some noise in 2018 as they return a solid mix of senior leadership. Two-way players C Blake Johnson and RHP Patrick Nelms will lead the way for the Admirals. Johnson, a Tulane recruit, has shown quality arm strength on the mound with pull side power at the plate, while Nelms has displayed fluid actions on the infield and feel for multiple pitches on the mound. SS Gabe Lacy and OF Dylan Ladner both are coming off productive 2017 campaigns and will be expected to carry a larger role through the 2018 season.
