THURSDAY, APRIL 14TH

+ RHP Jake Veazey (2022) of Madison Ridgeland Academy was impressive in very limited action. The uncommitted senior was up to 85 mph with plenty of life. Veazey's frame makes him an interesting prospect, loose and lean with upside. 

 

+ LHP Pepper Heard (2023) of Madison Ridgeland Academy showed off his funky delivery on Thursday at Presbyterian Christian. The Ole Miss commit and Future Games alum works into the low 80's with a solid change up that aggravates hitters. 

 

Saturday, APRIL 16TH

+ RHP Cayden Baker (2024) of Lewisburg is another former 2021 Future Game participant making waves. Baker was up to 88 mph with his fastball (91 mph in a recent outing) using a very synced up delivery and loose, quick arm action. 

 

+ RHP Stone McCaughey (2024) of Lewisburg was impressive a couple of years ago at one of our Mississippi Junior events showing off a spectacular breaking ball. After a little time nursing injuries this young man is back and so is the breaking ball. Though now McCaughey couples it with a fastball that reaches 88 mph.
