With the high school season underway and several college programs looking to finialize their 2019 recruiting class, today we explore five uncommitted seniors that could be quality prospects to watch moving through the remainder of their senior season.

Alex Frillman C / 1B / DeSoto Central , MS / 2019
Long-limb 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame with athletic build and room to add strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, hands starting slightly above shoulders, shifting weight from front to back in load, short stride and balance throughout the swing. Showed a loose stroke with gap power posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Turned around a 91 mph fastball during game play, recording a stand up double. Defensively displayed quality actions behind plate making accurate throws to second base, posting a top velocity of 75 mph and pop times of 1.95-2.07. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. |

Caleb Stewart OF / RHP / Starkville, MS / 2019
Lean, athletic 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame. Displayed a solid level of athleticism running a 6.83 60-yard dash. Defensively worked through balls with receptive hands out front and deliberate footwork. Clean exchanges working into medium arm action and high-¾ release produced a 76 mph positional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup. Loads with a toe tap rhythm, and short stride, staying behind front side, with developing balance in finish. Loose flat, rotational path through the zone that produced an exit velocity of 91 mph. |

Athletic 5-foot-9, 175-pound frame. Defensively handled the ball well in the middle of the field playing light on his feet, flashing an accurate arm across the diamond, recording a positional velocity of 79 mph. Offensively has a simple rhythm in load with good lag through the zone showing a ground ball/line drive approach posting an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash.

Athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds. Showed athleticism posting a 6.70 60-yard dash. The right-handed hitter has quick hands through the zone as he starts from a tall, open stance then loads back with leg lift, triggering his hands slightly back before striding forward. Worked on a flat plane through contact producing an exit velocity of 80 mph. Defensively he cuts distance with quick footwork and threw with a top velocity of 74 mph from a high-¾ slot to the dish.

Grady Lucas C / OF / Columbia, MS / 2019
Medium 5-foot-8, 160-pound frame. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, hands starting at shoulder height with loose rhythm. Pronounced leg lift loading, lands slightly open with balance. Loose whippy flat path and bat speed that produced exit velocity of 87 mph. Behind plate gave good target out front while high in initial setup, made clean midline exchanges with directional footwork to second base. Short arm action into high-3/4 release producing a pop times ranging 2.17-2.29 seconds, and a 74 mph positional velocity. In outfield worked through balls with rhythm and direction towards infield, making clean exchange into short high-3/4 release that produced a positional velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. |
