(Saltillo, 2026) is continuing to work this way into big time prospect status. We knew as the body matured the bat would follow. On Saturday Roberts showed everyone a glimpse of what should be expected over the next few years for opposing pitchers that make mistakes. The lean, slick fielding shortstop still has plenty of room to add to this frame but as that happens he should begin to have plenty of next level options. Roberts has plenty of arm for all positions on the infield, though his hands set him apart and he should stick at a middle infield spot.
