TEAM PREVIEW

Jake Brettschneider RHP / Francis Howell, MO / 2026

Long, lanky 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame that's started to fill out over the last calendar year and offers room for more. Was an impact arm for one of the top teams in the state as a sophomore this spring. Fastball plays in the upper-80s and has touched 90 mph across multiple looks. Spins a mid-to-upper-70s breaking ball that offers swing-and-miss upside. One of the top arms in the state's 2026 class.

Brody Crane RHP / Neosho, MO / 2026

Compact 6-foot, 205-pound frame with physicality throughout. Has been one of the biggest risers amongst this group as the summer has rolled on, climbing up to No. 11 overall in the class. Offers loud tools on both sides of the ball. Has been up to 94 mph on the mound, comfortably pitching in the low-90s, with a power low-80s slider. Swings a loud right-handed barrel that has showed to our staff in game, also has obvious arm strength from behind the plate.

Dylan Curtis RHP / Francis Howell, MO / 2026

6-foot-5, 170-pound frame with all sorts of upside. Currently the No. 4 overall prospect in the state and No. 133 nationally for the 2026 class. Coming off a stellar spring campaign for a Vikings' club that made a repeat trip to the state playoffs. True starter profile that projects to be a rotation arm at the next level. Fastball plays in the mid-to-upper-80s and comfortably throws both of his secondaries (BB/CH) for strikes. Offers a blend of high floor, high ceiling from a prospect perspective.

Jaymeson Forest 3B / Duchesne High School, MO / 2026

6-foot-3, 210-pounds. Owns some of the loudest left-handed power in the class, climbing into the low-100s from an exit velocity perspective at our events. Potential middle-of-the-order bat at the next level.

Devin Freeman OF / Ladue Horton Watkins, MO / 2026

Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame, ranked No. 38 overall in the state. Came away from the Missouri State Games as one of the day's biggest winners. Showed well in the showcase portion of the event, repeating barreled contact throughout BP from a fluid, upside right-handed swing. Homered in the gameplay portion of the event. Ran a 7.01 and was up to 85 mph from the outfield as well.

Kendall Hagedorn C / Smith-Cotton, MO / 2026

6-foot, 185-pound frame that holds strength throughout. Has impressed our staff on multiple occasions over the last calendar year, including most recently at the Missouri State Games. Swings a fast, physical right-handed barrel that holds inherent bat strength and a consistent feel for contact in game. Able to impact the game on the basepaths as well, 6.99 runner. Has a loud, accurate arm out of the chute with a chance to stick behind the plate at the next level.

Jaxson Joggerst RHP / Eureka, MO / 2026

6-foot-6, 195-pound highly projectable frame that duels as a basketball player for the Wildcats in the winter. Served as a top of the rotation arm on one of the top high school programs in St. Louis this spring. Strike thrower with polish, moves down the mound and controls his levers well for his age. Fastball plays in the mid-to-upper-80s with a tight, short wrinkle slider that he's able to land for strikes in the upper-70s. Will also turn over a firm changeup at 81-83 mph.

Ben Lackey RHP / Eureka, MO / 2026

6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete with present strength and room for more. Fastball plays in the mid-to-upper-80s with subtle arm side action at times. Feel for changeup, maintains fastball intent with fade at 79-81 mph. Also throws a firm slider at 75-79 mph.

CJ Lake RHP / Oakville, MO / 2026

6-foot-4, 195-pounds, ranked No. 7 overall in the state's soon-to-be junior class. Has some of the loudest strength on both sides of the ball in the class. Fastball has reached 90+ mph across multiple looks, whether it be in showcase setting or gameplay, pitching in the upper-80s. Will turn to a low-70s breaking ball as his main secondary and also throws a mid-70s changeup. Swings a strong, aggressive right-handed barrel that produced low-100s exit velocities, peaking at 103.4 mph, at one of our events this winter.

Preston McCracken RHP / Republic, MO / 2026

6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with physicality throughout. Was a standout arm from the Missouri State Games. Pumped his fastball at 87-89 mph in that brief look, averaging 17+ inches of vertical break, per TrackMan. Flashed feel to land a 73-75 mph breaking ball for strikes and also showed a low-70s splitter.

Brennan McLaughlin SS / PLATTE COUNTY HIGH, MO / 2026

6-foot-2, 180-pounds. One of the top two-way talents in the state. Has shown polish, feel to hit, and in-game power to our staff both in the spring and summer. Can also run his fastball into the mid-to-upper-80s.

Micah Patterson OF / Lee's Summit, MO / 2026

Has unquestionably been one of the biggest winners in the class throughout the summer, sitting at No. 16 overall on our rankings. Fluid left-handed swing with leverage and impact off the barrel. Launched a no-doubt home run at the NPI over the right field wall in early June. Has found the barrel with authority multiple times at different looks throughout the summer. 6.97 runner with easy arm strength (T89 mph) from the outfield to pair.

Colton Petersmith OF / Rolla, MO / 2026

6-foot-1, 165-pound frame with lean strength and twitch. Was a standout at the Missouri State Games earlier this summer, earning an invite to the Future Games as a result. Left/left athlete with impact run tool, ran a 6.86 60 on our lasers but plays faster than that in game. Has a motor, knows how to use his speed on both sides of the ball. Spray, all-fields approach at the plate with high bat to ball. Offers true top-of-the-lineup upside at the next level.

Tyler Putnam RHP / Battle, MO / 2026

6-foot-5, 180-pound frame with all sorts of upside and athleticism. Enters the event as the top uncommitted prospect from Missouri, ranked No. 3 overall in the state's 2026 class. Has impact talents on both sides of the ball, though his ceiling on the mound rivals that of any player making the trip to LakePoint. Has ran his fastball up to 92 mph, pitching in the upper-80s to low-90s. Comes out clean with relatively low effort behind it, likely more to come. Able to land a mid-to-upper-70s breaking ball for strikes. Swings a loud, intentful right-handed barrel with easy pull-side juice. Certainly one to watch when he toes the rubber this upcoming week.

Brendan Pyle 3B / Fort Zumwalt East, MO / 2026

Strong, compact 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame, ranked No. 10 overall in the state. Has consistently performed over the last two calendar years, assuming the starting shortstop job for Fort Zumwalt East as an underclassmen and running with it. Short, simple right-handed stroke with all-fields feel and barrel accuracy. Fundamentally sound on the infield, arm strength to pair (T89 mph). A scrappy, gamer-type that will be a four day follow for coaches as the event rolls on.

Craig Ringe SS / Eureka, MO / 2026

6-foot-1, 210-pound frame that holds strength throughout. Was an impact piece as a sophomore for a Eureka program that was amongst the top teams in Class 6 this spring. Swings a strong right-handed barrel with balance and polish to pair. Heady, high IQ type of producer that does all of the little things right on the diamond.

Jackson Smith LHP / Festus, MO / 2026

Strong, well-proportioned 6-foot-4, 195-pound athlete with plenty of room to fill out further. Was absolutely dominant this spring for Festus, allowing five earned runs (0.70 ERA) over 49 2/3 innings pitched. Consistently performs each time he toes the rubber. High feel to pitch, will throw all three of his pitches to both sides of the plate in any count.

Jathan Spain RHP / Cape Central, MO / 2026

6-foot-5, 215-pound frame with all sorts of physicality and muscle mass. Fastball plays in the upper-80s with sheer arm strength. Spins an aggressive, intentful slider in the upper-70s, though has climbed into the low-80s, and also features an upper-70s changeup.

Brady Tanner 2B / Francis Howell, MO / 2026

5-foot-9, 165-pound frame with strength in the lower half. Saw time as an underclassmen for a Francis Howell club that spent almost all of the spring season near the top of our 'Large School' high school team rankings. Consistently hits, on the barrel from a clean, polished left-handed swing. Scrappy, gamer-type approach to the game, doesn't give away at-bats and competes with regularity.

Cameron Taylor 3B / Kearney , MO / 2026

6-foot-3, 185-pound frame with strength throughout, really looks the part. Has some of the loudest arm talent in the class, running his fastball up to 92 mph in our looks, while pitching in the upper-80s. Throws a hard, intentful slider at 78-81 mph with lateral tilt.

Seaton Thompson SS / Ladue Horton Watkins, MO / 2026

6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete with lean strength and room to tack on more. Was another name to come away from the Missouri State Games as a big winner, earning an invite to the Future GAmes as a result. Switch hitter with balance and athleticism from both sides of the plate, offers more impact potential as a left-handed bat. Clean actions on the infield with bounce and footwork feel, soft hands.

Henry Vedder RHP / Washington, MO / 2026

Long, lanky 6-foot-4, 180-pound with lean levers. Fastball plays in the mid-to-upper-80s and his able to land a mid-70s breaking ball for strikes. Also throws a mid-to-upper-70s splitter that has flashed out-pitch potential at our events in the past.

Brooks Zumwalt C / Summit Christian, MO / 2026

Plenty physical 6-foot-5, 190-pound left-handed bat that has consistently performed across the summer circuit. Offers a blend of polish and power upside, works through the baseball with easy pull-side juice. Middle-of-the-order upside from the left side.

GT Taylor 2B / Christian Brothers College, MO / 2026

6-foot-2, 180-pound frame with lean strength and twitch. One of the top prospects in the state's 2026 class, slotted at No. 5 overall currently. Has been on an upward trajectory since the winter. Put together an explosive performance at the Missouri Preseason All-State and followed that up by nearly reaching double-digit home runs in the spring. Recently impressed at the Missouri State Games as well. Has big bat speed at the plate with power to pair, consistently gets off aggressive hacks and doesn't get cheated. Live arm from the outfield (T88 mph) and also has a 32.5" vertical. One of the top prospects from the 'Show Me' state making their way to the Future Games.
