Things are still relatively quiet on the recruiting front, but here are a few highlights for the first week of December…

+ C Joe Donovan (Westmont HS, IL) will join his older brother Charlie at Michigan after verbally committing to the Wolverines. The younger Donovan is currently ranked eighth in Illinois’ 2017 class.

+ RHP Rafe Schindler (Chalmette HS, LA), a 2017 with a 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame from has come on the scene early this fall for the Louisiana Knights program.  He was sitting 84-86 mph, touching 87, with a clean delivery, quick arm and some angle to plate. He also throws a quality breaking ball with tight spin and good depth. He is advanced for his age and should be one of the better arms in the state this spring as a sophomore.
