RHP Matt Kellis (Marquette HS) has committed to Southeastern Missouri State University. Last season at as a junior, Kellis went 3-1 in twenty and a third innings pitched, striking out twenty. At the Preseason All State showcase in February, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound Kellis was among the top players in attendance, with his upper 80’s fastball. Kellis is currently ranked No. 22 in the Class of 2013.
C Turner Miller (Ladue) has committed to St. Louis University. Miller (6-foot-1, 180-pounds) was among the St. Louis area leaders in RBIs with forty, while bating .464 with eleven doubles, two triples, and two homeruns. A participant in the Midwest Future Games in 2012 and a veteran of multiple PBR events, Turner has shown steady improvement in catching and hitting abilities, and has the potential to be one of the top hitters in the area as a senior. Turner is currently ranked No. 43 in the Class of 2013.
C Wyatt Fones from Wentzville Holt has given his commitment to Truman State University. Fones (6-foot-1, 170-pounds)has shown to be an above average defensive catcher, showing pop times in the 1.92-2.01 range. Last season, Fones had two triples, one HR, ten RBIs.
RHP Robbie Ewald from Ladue HS will be continuing has baseball career Lafayette University. The two way player hit .304 last season, while going 2-1 on the mound with one save, a 2.47 ERA, and twenty nine strikeouts in twenty two and two thirds innings pitched
Todd Czinege from Rockhurst HS has committed to Villanova University. Czinege is a 6-foot, 175-pound infielder.
