More Missouri Prospects Make Thier College Committments

More top ranked prospects from Missouri have made their college commitments over the past few days.

Tyler Anderson (right, ranked No. 34) from Sikeston has committed to the University of Tennessee-Martin. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Anderson has shown versatility at PBR events of the past as a shortstop with a strong arm (84-mph), projectability on the mound (an easy 82-85mph), speed (7.15 60) and some power at the plate.

Chandler Hall (left), a SS from Kickapoo HS, has committed to Maple Woods College. Currently ranked No. 35 in the Class of 2013, Hall has a middle infielder frame (5-foot-11, 150-pounds) and has shown smooth fielding mechanics and to go along with top of the order ability at the plate.

A pair of Poplar Bluff players, Josh King and Wesley Pyles, have made their college commitments.

Josh King has committed to Murray State. King was selected at a Class Four Honorable Mention as a catcher last season as a junior and will be a cornerstone of a Poplar Bluff team who has the potential to be a top team in the SEMO area

Class of 2014 LHP Wesley Pyles has made an early commitment to Southeast Missouri State University. Pyles has a projectable 6-foot, 176-pound frame with room to grow. He has shown the ability to command three pitches for strikes, and should enter 2013 as the ace of the Poplar Bluff staff..
