Top Performances

+ Jake Bartshe (Liberty North, 2016) allowed two runs in 5.2 innings, striking out four, walking one on six hits.  Ryan Hinkley (Liberty North, 2015) was 1-for-3 with a two-run home runs, while Brady Kaplan (Liberty North, 2015) was 3-for-3 with three doubles and two runs scored.  Josh Maple (Liberty, 2015) struck out six, walked two in seven innings for the Blue Jays.

+ Zach Gibbs (Holt, 2017) throws a complete-game to earn a 6-5 win over For Zumwalt West.  Gibbs struckout five, walked one and allowed four earned runs on seven hits.  He also went 2-for-3 at the plate, scoring two runs. 

+ Blake Charlton (CBC, 2016) throws a complete-game shut-out to beat DeSmet 1-0.  Charlton fanned eight, walked two and allowed two hits. Michael Plassmeyer (DeSmet, 2015) allowed on run on three hitswith seven strike outs in the loss.

+ Dean Crippen (Cape Notre Dame, 2015) hits a pair of home runs and drive in eight runs in a 15-5 win over Perryville.

+ Andrew Basler (Valle Catholic, 2015) strikes out ten, walks two, and scattered three hits in a complete-game shut-out over Crystal City. 

+ James Howie (Pacific, 2015) goes 2-for-3 with a home run in a 6-5 win over Lutheran South.  Lucas Zurliene (Pacific, 2016) works six strong innings for the Inidans, while Alex Rice (Pacific) adds a 3-for-4 day at the plate. 

+ Dalton Bealmer (Boonville) hits a pair of solo home runs in a 12-4 win over Odessa. 

+ Blake Clynes (Eureka, 2015) doubled and drove in a run at the plate, and tossed five innings on the mound with five strikeouts and no walks in a 5-4 win over Parkway South. 

+ Logan Vogel (Fatima, 2015) shuts out Dixon in a 5-0 win.  He worked seven innings scattering five hits with six strikeouts and two walks. 

+ Colton McQuinn (Raytown) earned the complete game shut-out win over Blue Springs South, 9-0.  McQuinn stuck out six and allowed five hits. 

+ Tyler Benninghoff (Rockhurst, 2016) earns the 3-1 win over Raymore-Peculiar.  Ben Whetstone (Rockhurst, 2015) drives in three runs on a bases clearing double.  Zach Hudspeth (Fatima) homers for the Coments, finishing 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored.
