MOKAN Preseason All-State: Blast Board
February 16, 2023
On Sunday, February 12th, the PBR Missouri and PBR Kansas traveled to the Mac N Seitz facility in Kansas City, MO, to host the MOKAN Preseason All-State. This invite-only event, which is in its fourth year, hosted several of the most talented 2023-to-2026 graduates from across the two states. Players will participate in a pro-style workout in front of our scouts, gathering verified measurables as well as advanced data through the help of our tech partners.

Shortly after the event’s conclusion, our staff posted a ‘Stat Story’ that highlighted some of the event’s stat leaders in our traditional categories, like the 60-yard dash, throwing velocities, and more. You can find that by clicking HERE.
We then compiled our notes and digested the day as a whole within our 'Quick Hits', where we highlighted over 30 names that impressed our staff. Those nuggets can be found HERE.
Earlier today our staff put together our 'Hitting Leaderboard' from this event, identifying several batted ball standouts with the help of our partners at TrackMan and turned to the mound shortly afterward, creating our ‘Pitching Leaderboard’, too.
We’ll wrap up our tech coverage today by taking a look at some of the event’s most impressive offensive threats with our ‘Blast Board’. We captured this data via our Blast Motion sensors that aid our staff in analyzing both bat and hand speed metrics, while also measuring on-plane efficiency, rotational acceleration, and more. Learn more about the prospects whose swing data stood out at this event below.
