MOKAN Fall Trials: Outfielders Analysis

Prep Baseball Report Missouri/Kansas held the MOKAN Fall Trials on Saturday, September 28 at the Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City, Missouri. Over forty players from region participated.
Player profiles have been updated with running times and velocities along with a video of their performance.
Players can now updated their profiles with a ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on ScoutPlus.
Here is a closer look at the Outfielders from the event, listed in alphabetical order.
Outfielders
Seldon Deemer OF / 3B / Shawnee Mission North, KS / 2022Deemer is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder and corner infielder in Kansas’ 2022 class. He ran a 7.69 second 60 and 4.96 home-to-first. At the plate, Deemer posted an exit velocity of 79 mph, athletic stance, slightly opened, minimal load with hands, in line stride, some rhythm with hands, leverages front side, showed a middle of the field approach during batting practice. Defensively in the outfield, attacks the baseball, works behind the ball, three-quarter release, positional velo of 68 mph, mostly accurate with throws. |
Parker Disidore OF / RHP / St. Thomas Aquinas, KS / 2020Disidore is a 5-foot-8, 155-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2020 class. At the event, Disidore ran a 7.09 second 60 and 4.70 home-to-first. At the plate, posted an exit velocity of 86 mph, athletic stance, minimal load, smooth hands, controls the barrel, smooth swing at the plate, minimal head movement, repeatable swing, hard contact to the middle of the field during round. In the outfield, shows some athleticism, smooth actions, clean arm action, positional velo of 76 mph, accurate throws. |
Joshua Holmes OF / 3B / Shawnee Mission West, KS / 2021Holmes is as 5-foot-11, 155-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder and middle infielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 7.01 second 60 and 4.19 home-to-first. Jackson Jeffries OF / OF / Lees Summit , MO / 2021Jeffries is a 6-foot-1, 165-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 7.09 second 60 and a 4.62 home-to-first. At the plate, Jeffries posted an exit velocity of 87 mph, starts in an athletic stance, simple load with minimal negative movement with hands, in line stride, quick hands, flat bat path, repeats swing with minimal head movement, produced hard contact to pull side with some pop during batting practice. Jackson Magargee C / OF / Kingsville , MO / 2022Magargee is a long and lean 6-foot, 165-pound, left-handed hitting catcher and outfielder in Missouri’s 2022 class.
