The uncommitted Sophomore centerfielder for the Blue Devils has been putting together a strong resume this Spring.  He's currently hitting .339 with 11 extra base hits, 27 RBI, and has 14 stolen bases in 16 attempts.  He swings from a wide and athletic base with a flat bath and good overall bat speed.  He's able to generate power with quick hands through the zone and exit speeds reaching up to 100 mph in a BP setting.  In the outfield he attacks the ball with good rhythm and has an adequate arm for playing center field.  Paniagua was also off to a hot start in 2020 before the season got shut down with a .361 in 20 games.
