IL Unsigned Senior Showcase: Top Overall Prospects
November 2, 2018
On Oct. 7, our staff hosted the fall’s Unsigned Senior Showcase – an annual event for the area’s top talents belonging to the 2019 class who remain uncommitted. There were 160 prospects at The MAX taking part in the pro-style workout, performing in front of a collection of over 35 colleges. Already, 14 of the prospects in attendance have since committed to play at the next level.
Today, we’ll wrap up our showcase analysis by ranking the top-10 prospects, regardless of position, at the senior-only event from earlier October.
The two of the top-three prospects on the board remain uncommitted, including a pair if right-handed arms. One of the day’s top hitters in attendance, SS/3B Logan Mantz (Slinger; Madison JC commit), also earned a spot near the top of the board.
The majority of the ranked talent on the board are still on the market. We’ve already published the Statistical Analysis from this showcase, as well as the breakdown of the day’s catchers, infielders, outfielders, and pitchers. Continue on below to see the complete top-10.
