Another Top Class of 2014 Player Commits and other Recruiting News

Class of 2014 Elijay Dilday from Francis Howell has committed to Nebraska. Dilday is the ninth player from Team Missouri of the Midwest Future Games to commit, and the second to Nebraska; joining RHP Zack Engelken. Currently ranked No. 4 in the Missouri Class of 2014 and No. 33 in the combined rankings, the athletic Dilday showed one of the strongest arms of the Future Games in the outfield (91-mph), while also having extremely quick hands and fast bat speed at the plate. He shows the ability to consistently square up the baseball.
In other recruiting news, Derek Hurst from Forsyth HS will continue his baseball career at College of the Ozarks. Last year as a junior he hit a combined (spring and fall) .404 with 10 doubles, 5 triples, and 20 RBIs. Hurst was also a perfect 44 for 44 in stolen base attempts.
