On August 17 at the University of Central Missouri, Prep Baseball Report-Missouri held the Class of 2015 Prospect Games. The event featured 60 of the top uncommitted players in the state. There were several two-way players (pitcher + position player) at this event, but keep in mind that the evaluations below are based on the outfield side only.

Top Outfield Prospects
Derrick Freeman (University City, OF, 2015)
Freeman is an athletic 5-foot-10, 155-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first 4.07. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. Derrick’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He has fluid footwork and a clean exchange. His position velo was 83 MPH. At the plate, Freeman has an athletic setup with a smooth load and a long stride. He uses his lower half well, with a level bat path. Derrick's swing produces line drives and he uses the middle of the field well. He had an exit velo of 87 MPH. Derrick had a big game, he reached base 3 times and added a stolen base.
Bradey Kaplan (Liberty North, OF, 2015)
Kaplan is an athletic, strong 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.50. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. His throws were very accurate with good carry. Brady has very quick fluid feet and attacks the ball. His position velo was 80 MPH. At the plate, Kaplan has an athletic setup with a smooth load and long stride. He keeps a level bat with a strong lower half. Brady uses the middle of the field well and hits a lot of line drives. He also shows some pull power. Kaplan had an exit velo of 86 MPH.
Conrad McMahon (Staley, OF, 2015)
McMahon is an athletic 5-foot-9, 175-pound right-hand hitting outfielder/third baseman. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.11. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. Conrad’s throws were very accurate and had great life. The ball comes out of his hand very clean and he has quick feet. His outfield velocity was 86 MPH and infield velocity was 81 MPH. At the plate, McMahon has a balanced setup with a long stride. Conrad uses his lower half well and keeps a level bat path through his swing. He produces gap-to-gap line drives. He had an exit velo of 85 MPH. He hit a double to right field during the game.
Michael Marra (Lee’s Summit North, OF, 2015)
Marra is a projectable 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-hand hitting infielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.16. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot with loose arm action. Michael’s throws were mostly accurate and had great life. He has a clean exchange and has aggressive actions to and through the ball. His position velo was 89 MPH. At the plate, Marra has an athletic setup and a smooth load. He gets good extension on his swing and is a little uphill. Michael’s swing produces gap-to-gap line drives and tends to go opposite field. He had an exit velo of 84 MPH. He picked up a hit to opposite field during the game.
Jared Robbins (Rockhurst, OF, 2015)
Robbins is an athletic 6-foot-0, 170-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.35. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot with short arm action. Jared’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. His position velo was 86 MPH. Robbins displayed quick fluid feet and a clean exchange. At the plate, Robbins has an athletic setup with a long stride. He uses his lower half well and maintains a level bat path. Jared produces gap-to-gap line drives with his swing. He had an exit velo of 86 MPH.
Patrick Hoerning (Nixa, OF, 2015)
Hoerning is a wiry athletic 5-foot-11, 152-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.52. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot with short arm action. Patrick’s throws were mostly accurate and had good life. He has aggressive actions and a clean exchange. His position velo was 86 MPH. At the plate, Hoerning has an open setup with a smooth load. He gets extension on his swing. Patrick's swing produces line drives and he has pull power. He had an exit velo of 82 MPH.
Nic Gauspohl (Timberland, OF, 2015)
Gauspohl is a wiry, athletic 6-foot-0, 155-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.85. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with loose arm action. Nic’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. His position velo was 87 MPH. Gauspohl displayed quick fluid feet and is aggressive to the ball. At the plate, Nic has an open setup with a long stride. He uses his lower half well and maintains a level bat path. He produces gap-to-gap line drives with his swing and has some pull power. He had an exit velo of 83 MPH. He had a single to left center in the game.
Richard Fullerton (Park Hill South, OF, 2015)
Fullerton is an athletic 6-foot-3, 180-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.45. He’s very aggressive in his approach to the ball and plays through. Richard showed good arm strength with an 85 MPH positional velo. Fullerton is loose and easy with very good accuracy. At the plate, Fullerton has an athletic setup with a long stride. Richard has fast bat speed and a level bat path. His swing produces gap-to-gap line drives. Fullerton’s exit velo was 89 MPH. In the game, he collected a couple hits and a pair of RBI.
Chase Urhahn (Cape Notre Dame, OF, 2015)
Urhahn is an athletic 5-foot-11 180-pound left handed hitting outfielder. In the outfield, Chase throws from a high ¾ arm slot and long arm action. He has a clean exchange and throws with all of his body. Urhahn displayed really good actions to the ball. He had an outfield velo of 77 MPH. At the plate, Chase starts with an athletic setup and a smooth load. He has a short, repeatable swing with a gap-to-gap approach that can produce pull power. Urhahn produces good bat speed and posted an exit velocity of 86 MPH.
PJ Hedman (Eureka, OF, 2015)
Hedman is an athletic 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.45. PJ throws from an over-the-top arm slot and has loose, long arm action. His throws were accurate and had great life. He gets great reads and reacts well. His position velo was 82 MPH from the outfield. At the plate, Hedman has a slightly closed setup with a back load. PJ uses the middle of the field. He had an exit velo of 82 MPH.

Darrian Aldridge (Grandview, OF, 2015)
Aldridge is an athletic 6-foot-2, 165-pound left-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.32. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. Darrian’s throws were very accurate and had good carry. His position velo was 82 MPH. Aldridge has very good actions and displayed a quick clean exchange. At the plate, Darrian has an open setup with a smooth load and long stride. He has a level bat path and gets good extension on his swing. He produces gap-to-gap line drives. He had an exit velo of 81 MPH. Aldridge hit the ball hard during the game.
Colton Anderson (Seckman, OF, 2015)
Anderson is an athletic 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-hand hitting outfielder/shortstop. He ran home-to-first time of 4.69. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot with loose arm action. His throws were very accurate with life. Colton attacks the ball and has fluid footwork. His position velo was 87 MPH from the outfield, and 73 MPH on the infield. At the plate, Anderson has an open setup with a smooth load and long stride. He has some swagger in his approach. His swing produces line drives to the middle of the field. Colton had an exit velo of 82 MPH. In the game, Anderson had a walk and hit the ball hard once.
Austin Fiorella (Lee’s Summit North, OF, 2015)
Fiorella is a projectable 6-foot-0, 180-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.32. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and has good life on his throws. Austin’s throws were accurate and had good carry. He has quick fluid feet and a clean exchange. His position velo was 79 MPH. At the plate, Fiorella has a crouched setup and a smooth load. He has fast bat speed and gets good extension on his swing. Austin’s level swing produces gap-to-gap line drives. He had an exit velo of 85 MPH.
James Grandgenette (Smithville, OF, 2015)
Grandgenett is a wiry, athletic 6-foot-2, 181-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.69. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot with short arm action. James’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He takes good angles to the ball and has a clean exchange. Grandgenett had a position velocity of 77 MPH. At the plate, James has an athletic setup with a back load and a long stride. He displayed fast bat speed. Grandgenett produces line drives and has pull power. He had an exit velo of 91 MPH. Ryan Krippene (SLUH, OF, 2015)

Jared Littlefield (Hazelwood West, OF, 2015)
Littlefield is an athletic 6-foot-1, 180-pound switch hitting shortstop/outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.21. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and long arm action. Jared’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. His position velo was 77 MPH at shortstop. At the plate, Littlefield has a crouched setup with a back load and long stride. He explodes with his lower half and gets great leverage in his swing. Jared’s swing produces line drives. He had an exit velo of 84 MPH.
Jacob Mitchell (Mountain Grove, OF, 2015)
Mitchell is a strong 6-foot-1, 195-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.72. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. His throws were mostly accurate with good carry. Jacob is aggressive and plays through the ball. His position velo was 81 MPH. At the plate, Mitchell has an open setup with a short stride. He has some swagger in his approach and fast bat speed. His swing produces gap-to-gap line drives and has some pull power. Jacob had an exit velo of 91 MPH. In the game, Jacob collected a hit and 2 RBI.
Marcus Motley (Blue Valley North (KS), OF, 2015)
Motley is a projectable 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-hand hitting outfielder/first baseman. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.22. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot with long arm action. Marcus’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He has great actions to the ball and is very aggressive. Motley had an infield velocity of 76 MPH and outfield velocity of 77 MPH. At the plate, Marcus has an athletic setup with a long stride. He uses his lower half well and gets good extension through the ball. Motley produces gap-to-gap line drives. He had an exit velo of 81 MPH.
Kaleb Reid (Smithville, OF, 2015)
Reid is an athletic 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-hand hitting outfielder/middle infielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.13. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Kaleb’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He has a clean exchange and fluid feet. His outfield velo was 75 MPH and infield velo was 74 MPH. At the plate, Reid has an athletic setup with a long stride. He uses his lower half well and has a simple/repeatable swing. Kaleb’s swing produces gap-to-gap line drives and he uses the middle. Jamison Raines (Fort Osage, OF, 2015)
Raines is a wiry, athletic 6-foot-3, 175-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.62. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. His throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. Jamison plays through the ball. His position velo was 80 MPH. At the plate, Raines has a balanced setup with a back load. Jamison stays inside the ball well and uses the middle of the field. He had an exit velo of 82 MPH.
Joshua Rand (Grandview, OF, 2015)
Rand is an athletic 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.53. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with good arm action. Joshua’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He has quick feet and attacks the ball. His outfield velocity was 77 MPH. At the plate, Rand has an athletic setup with a back load. Zachary Smith (Fort Zumwalt West, 1B, 2015)
Smith is a strong 5-foot-11, 193-pound left-hand hitting first baseman/outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.25. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot with loose arm action. Zachary’s throws were very accurate and had good carry. He has great actions in the outfield and at first base. Smith had an infield velocity of 76 MPH and an outfield velocity of 78 MPH. At the plate, Zachary has an athletic setup with a back load. He displayed fast bat speed and has some swagger in his approach. Smith produces line drives and has pull power.
