On Tuesday, July 15, Prep Baseball Report-Missouri held the Ozark Open ID Prospect Showcase at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Today, we will analyze the infielders and in the days to come we will take a look at the catchers and pitchers. Although many infielders played another position, this is just a look at the outfield performances.

Top Middle Infield Prospects
Bradey Welsh (Marshfield, SS, 2015)
Welsh is a strong, athletic 6-foot-1, 155-pound right-hand hitting shortstop. He ran a 60 at 6.90 and home-to-first 4.60. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Bradey’s throws were very accurate and had good carry. He has fluid footwork and a quick clean exchange. His position velo was 85 MPH. At the plate, Welsh has an athletic setup with a smooth load. He stays level through the zone and finishes high. Bradey has some pop and produces gap-to-gap line drives with his swing. He had an exit velo of 87 MPH.
Dillon Richarson (Clinton, SS, 2015)
Richardson is an athletic 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-hand hitting middle infielder. He ran a 60 at 6.97 and home-to-first 4.28. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. Dillon’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He has fluid footwork and a quick clean exchange. His position velo was 79 MPH. At the plate, Richardson has an athletic setup with a smooth load and long stride. He has very fast hands with a short level bat path. Dillon's swing produces line drives and has opposite field power. He had an exit velo of 85 MPH.
Top Corner Infield Prospects
John Privitera (Lee's Summit West, 3B, 2015)
Privitera is an athletic 5-foot-8, 155-pound left-hand hitting middle infielder. He ran a 60 at 6.88 and home-to-first 4.34. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. His throws were very accurate with good carry. Privitera has very quick fluid feet and soft hands. His position velo was 75 MPH. At the plate, John has an athletic setup with a short stride. He has fast bat speed with a strong lower half. Privitera uses the middle of the field well and hits a lot of line drives. Privitera had an exit velo of 83 MPH.
Kyle Giefer (Kickapoo, 1B, 2016)
Giefer is a 6-foot-0 184-pound left handed hitting 1B/OF. In the outfield, Giefer throws from a high ¾ arm slot and has good carry on the ball. He has a clean hand-to-glove exchange and made mostly accurate throws to his target. On the infield, Giefer displayed good aggressive actions through the ball. He has soft hands and good range at 1B. He had an outfield velo of 82 MPH and an infield velo of 82 MPH. At the plate, Geifer starts with a balanced setup and relaxed hands. He has a short, quick swing with a gap-to-gap approach that can produce power to pull gap. Giefer produces good bat speed and posted an exit velocity of 84 MPH.
Mark Duley (Joplin, 1B, 2017)
Duley is a highly projectable 6-foot-4, 200-pound right-hand hitting outfielder/first baseman. He ran a 60 at 7.44 and home-to-first 4.50. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with easy arm action. Mark’s throws were mostly accurate and have life. He has aggressive actions to and through the ball. His position velo was 76 MPH from the outfield and 64 MPH on the infield. At the plate, Duley has a balanced setup with a smooth load. He has an exploding lower half, with a short level bat path. Mark's swing produces line drives and has tru power to all fields. He had an exit velo of 86 MPH.
Tyler Clark (Blue Springs South, 3B, 2016)
Clark is an athletic, strong 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-hand hitting third baseman. He ran a 60 at 7.75 and home-to-first 4.58. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Tyler’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He has a clean exchange and quick fluid feet. His position velo was 77 MPH. At the plate, Clark has an athletic setup and a smooth load with a long stride. He uses his lower half well. Tyler’s swing produces gap-to-gap line drives and showed pull power. He had an exit velo of 87 MPH.

Michael Berger (Springdield Catholic, SS, 2015)
Berger is a w 5-foot-10, 145-pound right-hand hitting infielder. He ran a 60 at 7.46 and home-to-first 4.56. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Michael’s throws were mostly accurate and had some carry. His position velo was 70 MPH. Berger displayed quick fluid feet and a clean exchange. At the plate, Berger has an athletic setup with a smooth load and a short stride. He shows fluid rhythm and a level bat path. Berger produces gap-to-gap line drives with his swing. He had an exit velo of 76 MPH.
Austin Carter (Webb City, SS, 2015)
Carter is a strong 5-foot-10, 175-pound right-hand hitting outfielder/infielder. He ran a 60 at 7.17 and home-to-first 4.35. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Austin’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. He has quick fluid feet and works through the ball. His position velo was 78 MPH. Trey Cooper (West Plaines, 2B, 2016)
7/15/14 – Cooper is a strong 6-foot-0, 175-pound right-hand hitting infielder. He ran a 60 at 7.41 and home-to-first 4.82. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. His throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. Trey plays through the ball. His position velo was 68 MPH. At the plate, Cooper has a balanced setup with a smooth load. Andrew Greek (Webb City, 2B, 2016)
Greek is a wiry 5-foot-11, 150-pound left-hand hitting middle infielder. He ran a 60 at 7.06 and home-to-first 4.41. Andrew throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.
