On Tuesday, June 24 at Atkins Baseball Complex in Columbia, Missouri, Prep Baseball Report held the Mid-Missouri Prospect ID. We have broken down the pitchers, today we break down the infielders. Although, may players did another position besides infield, this is just a look at infield performances.

Top Performers
Logan Vogel (Fatima, SS, 2015)
Vogel is an athletic 6-foot-0, 160-pound right-hand hitting shortstop. He ran a 60 at 7.20 and home-to-first 4.80. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Logan’s throws were very accurate and had some carry. His position velo was 77 MPH. At the plate, Vogel has an athletic setup with a short stride. He shows good balance through his swing and a level bat path. Logan produces gap-to-gap line drives with his swing. He had an exit velo of 80 MPH.
Chase Simpson (Savannah, 2B, 2015)
Simpson is a lanky, athletic 5-foot-9, 155-pound right-hand hitting middle infielder/outfielder. He ran a 60 at 6.90 and home-to-first 4.50. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot. His throws were very accurate with some carry. Simpson made good reads and has a quick exchange. His position velo was 74 MPH. At the plate, Chase has an open setup with a long stride. He has fluid rhythm and produces gap-to-gap line drives. Chase gets good top spin on the ball off the bat. Simpson had an exit velo of 75 MPH.
Jakob Woods (Maryville, SS, 2018)
Woods is a projectable, athletic 6-foot-1, 165-pound right-hand hitting shortstop. He ran a 60 at 7.40 and home-to-first 4.94. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. His throws were very accurate and had good carry. Jakob has soft hands and quick fluid feet. His position velo was 74 MPH. At the plate, Woods has an athletic setup with a smooth load. He uses his lower half well and has good balance through his swing. Jakob uses the middle of the field and adjusts to the inside pitch well. Has some real power potential. He had an exit velo of 79 MPH.

Eli's throws were very accurate and had good carry. His position velo was 73 MPH. Bergeron displayed quick fluid feet and a quick clean exchange. At the plate, Bergeron has an athletic setup with a smooth load and a long stride. He shows fluid rhythm and a level bat path. Eli produces gap-to-gap line drives with his swing and has good power. Jake Bohlken (Smithville, 1B, 2016)
