preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Season Outlook
The Notre Dame Bulldogs will reload from a team that went 28-5 and won the Class 4 state championship.  They will return one starting pitcher an one position player from the 2015 season.  Two seniors will make their mark this year, LHP Tyler Essner and INF Ross Essner.  They will be backed by talented underclassmen, let by sophomore RHP Will Ferrell and junior INF Winston Welter.  Ferrell is a 6-foot-6 215-pound righty with a fastball in the mid 80's and Winston a slick fielding 6-foot 160-pound middle infielder. The Bulldogs will also rely on junior INF Garrett Siebert and sophomore INF Noah Brown to continue the success that Notre Dame as seen over the past several years.   Notre Dame opens the season ranked #7 in the MHSBCA preseason poll as the look to defend the state title.
