PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
Vos: I have visited all of the schools listed above and have some offers.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Vos: I am hoping to find a competitive D1 or D2 school with good academics where I can make an impact on and off the field -for the baseball team and for the University. My top major choices are business and exercise science/physical therapy.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your sophomore year?
Vos: The main highlight for me of my sophomore year was being a full-time starter in the outfield as well as being a regular in the pitching rotation. The first game of the season my sophomore year I started in left field and went two for four with a single and a double. I was the youngest player on the team, and I knew I had to work and perform to earn a spot. We had a successful season and played in the section final game. That summer, I pitched a complete game in the Legion section final helping my team advance to state. When we were at state, I hit a homerun during my first at bat. It was the second inning and put us on the board to help the team win our first game of the tourney. Those are memorable highlights from the field, but the parts of the season I will never forget was spending time with my teammates at practice and in hotels while traveling.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
Vos: The fall season is wrapping up in a couple weeks, so I am hoping my Blizzard teammates and I can have a great tournament in Kansas City on Oct 16-18. I want to commit to a competitive college baseball program. I will continue to work on strength and speed. This winter, I’ll be playing basketball with my team at Duluth East. Last year, we made it to the section final basketball game, so we have high hopes this senior season.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
Vos: In high school when it's not baseball season, I'm on the basketball court. I am always active with my friends and family. We are competitive and like all kinds of sports
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
Vos: GPA is 3.72
