Scouting Report
6-foot-5, 185-pound left-handed pitcher. #31 ranked player in MN 2020 class. Solid athleticism in delivery, has uptempo rhythm, aggressive in zone and goes after hitter. Fastball was 81-84 mph with running action to arm-side of plate. Sharp 1/8 breaking ball with above avg. depth. Solid fade on changeup for strikes to arm-side.
8/11/18- 6-foot-5, 175-pound left-handed hitting two-way player. 7.63 runner. Slight open stance that starts weight back and hands high. Body load and good rhythm in hands. Pull swing that makes consistent hard contact. Bat path swings down to contact. Ground ball to fly ball results with average carry. 83 mph exit velocity. OF- Good feet and glove with solid arm action. Good carry and accuracy with 79 mph arm strength. On mound- Tall projectable frame and room to grow. Simple delivery that lands and throws slightly across body. Good arm action and a strike thrower. Fastball has good downhill varying action at 79-82 mph. Curveball is 67-68 mph and has late 1/7 hard break with good spin for strikes. Change-up is hard with some fade. Follow on mound in 2020 class.
6-foot-5, 175-pound left-handed pitcher. Long projectable frame with room to grow. Good tempo delivery and down mound. Lands slightly across body. Good extension. Arm is clean and throws from a ¾ arm slot. Fastball is 83-84 mph with arm side run and jumps out of hand. Curveball has 1/7 break with good shape and spin at 68-71 mph. Change-up has good fade action at 76-77 mph. Solid follow in 2020 class.
