Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
Greven: Of the schools that have reached out to me, Minnesota State Mankato, University Wisconsin-La Crosse and Saint Scholastica have been the schools I have most actively had conversations with.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
Greven: I have not taken any official visits, but I have had the opportunity to visit the University of Wisconsin-La Cross and am scheduling an official visit with Saint Scholastica. I am also hoping to schedule a visit with Minnesota State University, Mankato soon. I have visited the campus many times as my brother currently attends Minnesota State University, Mankato.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Greven: I am looking for a school that will give me the opportunity to advance my ability to be successful in the Sports Management field. A successful sports program will hopefully give me an opportunity to learn from some of the best. The opportunity to be part of the success of the team, wherever that brings me, would be exciting, as well.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
Greven: Being the #2 starter on my high-school team, as a Junior, was a great honor. The confidence the coaches showed in me was greatly appreciated. Being a high contributor to a team that won the, highly competitive, South Suburban Conference was incredible. Being chosen to start in the Section Championship game was a highlight of my season. The fact that I had one of my best outings and played well for my teammates was incredible. Being Selected, All-Conference was also an incredible honor.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
Greven: With baseball, First and foremost, I will be working on the mental side of being a pitcher. I have an incredible resource in Harvey Martin. I will be continuing to work very hard to keep my fundamentals solid while increasing my velocity. I have added 5-6 mph since early summer and am excited for the training this winter to exceed 90 mph. I will also be focusing on zeroing in on spots for my slider as my velocity increases. Additionally, I will be continuing to work on my changeup. Having 3 solid pitches going into my Senior year will be very exciting.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
Greven: No. I played basketball as well up to my sophomore year, but decided to focus on baseball, going forward.
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
Greven: ACT: 19 GPA: 2.9
