Evaluation:  8/20/16- 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. #71 ranked player in MN 2017 class. Strong compact build. Travels across rubber, shows tempo and rhythm in delivery, lands across body, with extended clean arm action. Loose ¾ arm slot; tends to release with upright finish. Fastball was 81-83 mph with run and sink; sneaky velo- jumps on hitter. Short break for strikes on curveball at 72-73 mph. Tends to slow arm down on changeup, with cut action, at 68-70 mph.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
WALLNER: Some of the schools include Minnesota State, UM-Duluth, St. Cloud, Scholastica, and other D2 and D3 schools.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
WALLNER: I have visited Minnesota State, St Scholastica, and UM-Duluth so far.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
WALLNER: I am most interested in a medium sized school that offers a large variety of Majors with a winning baseball program.  Right now I am considering a Major related to the health care industry.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
WALLNER: Making it to the High School Section final and pitching in the Legion State tournament.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
WALLNER: I am most interested in helping our High School team make it to the State tournament.  We will have a strong team and I look forward to being part of a successful season.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
WALLNER: No.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
WALLNER: I have a 3.5 GPA and 23 on the ACT.
