What schools have expressed interest in you?

Mollet: I have interests from Gustavus Adolphus College, Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, North Iowa Area Community College, Des Moines Area Community College, St. Olaf,  St. Cloud State University, Nebraska Omaha, and University of Northern Colorado

Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future? 

Mollet: Yes, I have, I have visited Gustavus and NIACC because they have been close to where I live so that makes it a lot easier, especially with Covid.  I also plan to visit DMACC in the future.

Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?

Mollet: When looking for a school, academics is definitely my top priority and if I can get a great education while playing the sport I love.  A close second for what I look for in a school would be how they would develop me as a baseball player and what their 4-year plan for me would look like.

What were some of your highlights during your sophomore year? 

Mollet: A couple of my highlights from sophomore year would have to be getting called up to varsity for the playoffs and being able to pitch on the same team my brother was on for the first time.  I am also very grateful for being given the opportunity to meet other players that are outside of my community and create a friendship with them as we traveled the country over the summer.  Another highlight would have to be throwing a no hitter in Georgia at the Lakepoint tournament.

What are your goals for this year?

Mollet: My goals are to add 4 miles per hour to my fastball this off season and to get better command of my secondary pitches along with keeping up with schoolwork and getting an A average in my classes.

What is your ACT and GPA?  

Mollet: My ACT is a 27 (29 superscore) and my GPA is 3.6 (weighted)
