'21 Carter Hanson an athletic 1B/LHP for Mash. The left handed-hitter has a mid/pull approach and shows the ability to drive the ball. A consistent swing with good contact that is a follow into Spring.
6-foot-2, 183-pound two-way player, athletic frame with upside. Competitive presence on the mound, loose easy arm works out of high ¾ slot. Fastball played 79-81 mph, showed feel in the strike zone. Curveball plays 68 mph, drops for strikes.
6-foot-2, 183-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.10 runner. Good athletic frame. Balanced open stance. Leg lift trigger and hand load down. Some lift to swing through contact. Mid/pull approach with line drive and fly ball contact. Consistent and hard contact and flashed pop in barrel. 86 mph exit velocity. OF- Athletically moves to ball with good feet. Clean glove and fields through ball. 80 mph arm strength with good carry and average accuracy.
6-foot-2, 183-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.00 runner. Athletic frame. Open stance with weight started back and high handset. Leg lift and hands load down. Good hands and swings hard. Mid/pull approach with line drive contact. Good contact and flashed pull pop. 88 mph exit velocity. IF- Athletic feet and moves well laterally. Good glove and makes routine plays. 80 mph arm strength with good carry and accuracy. On mound- Good frame. Slower into a quicker tempo delivery. Lands across body down mound. Throws from a ¾ arm action with good arm action. Fastball is straight at 80-83 mph. Curveball has sharp 1/7 break with tight spin and good depth thrown at 69-72 mph. Strong follow in 2021 class.
6-foot-2, 170-pound left-pound hitting 2-way player. Strong follow in 2021 class. On mound; athletic frame, quicker twitch, shorter balance point, long clean arm action, has extension out front, repeats delivery well. Fastball was 81-83 mph, ball jumps out of hand, with late running action at plate. Tumbling 1/7 shape on curveball with later break for strikes. Arm-side fade on changeup; thrown near fastball arm speed. 7.20 runner. Lean athletic frame, easy body load, has rhythm in swing, clean path, looks to elevate baseball, projectable pop in bat, hard line drive contact, 87 mph exit velocity. Overly athletic at first, sure hands, confident actions, above avg. receiver around bag, 80 mph arm across infield.
6-foot-2, 165-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Long lean athletic frame with wiry strength. Strong follow in MN 2021 class. 7.08 runner. Square stance, body load, early rhythm in hands, clean path, line drive and fly ball contact, some stiffness to 2 hand finish, flashes pull-side pop, gap to gap approach, 85 mph exit velocity. Light on his feet and plays with energy in field, shows athleticism, above avg. arm action, clean and loose, accurate with carry to target, 80 mph arm strength from outfield. Clean arm path with athletic actions on mound. Will continue to add strength and velo. Fastball was 77-80 mph with late arm-side run. Inconsistent release point but breaking ball improved the more he threw it. Shows late arm side run and sink on changeup.
