Eduardo Estrada, SS, Litchfield, 2015
Notes- During the position workout Litchfield standout Eduardo Estrada showed well. The Minnesota commit started off by running a 6.92 60-yard dash. During the defensive portion of the workout, Estrada showed ok feet, aggressive routes to the baseball, clean exchanges, and used his momentum well in his throws which were accurate and online with a top velocity of 80 mph. The top ranked player in Minnesota’s 2015 class swung the bat well in the BP portion of the workout. He starts with a medium stance that keeps him balanced. Shows good rhythm and drives his hips well through the zone. His hands are quick and displays strength in his swing. The left-handed hitter showed patience at the plate making loud contact to the middle of the field and showed some power to the pull side. He also registered an event best 97 mph exit velocity off the tee.
