The PBR MN Prospect ID- Duluth event took place on Saturday, August 10, 2019. The event was held at Wade Stadium in Duluth, MN. The event featured prospects from the 2020 through 2023 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from this year's participants. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches in attendance.

infieldER EVALUATIONS (ALPHA)

Quinton Ask, LHP/1B, Wayzata, 2022
5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.83 runner.  Slightly closed balanced stance.  Leg lift trigger and hands load back.  Some stiffness through swing and weight tends to stay over backside.  Flat swing plane.  Mid/pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact.  Average barrel contact with 78 mph exit velocity.  IF- Average feet to field.  Tends to field ball high.  Glove can be stiff.  67 mph arm strength with average accuracy and fade carry.

Zach Dilley, 2B, Apple Valley, 2021
5-foot-7, 150-pound right-handed hitting second baseman.  7.56 runner.  Balanced and slightly open stance.  Bigger leg lift and hand load back.  Arm bar at times creating length to contact.  Swing plane works down to contact.  Mid/pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact.  Average barrel contact with 75 mph exit velocity.  IF- Average feet to field and good into release.  Glove flips out to field and cleaner laterally.  Throws with a lower arm slot.  70 mph arm strength with average carry and accuracy. 

Kristian Herman, RHP/1B, Carlton, 2021
6-foot-3, 275-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  8.44 runner.  Open stance with weight started slightly back.  Strides to square with small hand load.  Swing plane works down to contact.  Short and stiff finish.  Tends to be off balance.  Pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact.  Inconsistent barrel contact with 84 mph exit velocity.  IF- Heavy feet with some squat to field.  Glove is stiff.  Short arm action with fade carry.  68 mph arm strength with average accuracy.

Cole McParland, 3B/RHP, Westgate (ONT), 2020
6-foot-1, 165-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.43 runner.  Closed upright stance.  Small body and hand load.  Stride works back to square.  Aggressive swing.  Slightly uphill swing plane.  Mid/pull approach with ground ball to fly ball contact.  Inconsistent barrel contact with 75 mph exit velocity.  IF- Average feet laterally and long on routine ball.  Glove comes out late and makes routine play.  Short arm action with some sling to release.  Below average carry with average accuracy.  75 mph arm strength.

Ethan Neveau, RHP/2B, Duluth East, 2020
6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  8.19 runner.  Open stance with high handset.  Some rhythm in load.  Toe tap trigger and hand load back.  Swing plane works down to contact with short finish.  Some stiffness through swing.  Mid/pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact.  Inconsistent contact with 78 mph exit velocity.  IF- Average feet to field and into release.  Average glove and field out in front.  Tail carry and average accuracy with 75 mph arm strength.

Trevor Patterson, SS, St. Francis, 2020
6-foot, 164-pound, right-handed hitting short stop.  6.81 runner.  Slightly open stance with weight start back.  Small stride and hand load down.  Flat swing plane with short finish.  Pushes barrel through zone.  Pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact.  Inconsistent contact with 77 mph exit velocity.  IF- Moves athletically to field.  Average glove and stays down to field.  Makes routine plays.  Quicker release.  75 mph arm strength with average accuracy and below average carry.

Tristan Stark, RHP/3B, North St. Paul, 2021
6-foot-2, 167-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  8.01 runner.  Open relaxed stance.  Some rhythm in load.  Leg lift trigger and hand load down.  Slight arm bar.  Barrel works in and out of zone.  Mid/pull approach with groundball contact.  Inconsistent barrel contact with 77 mph exit velocity.  IF- Average glove and funnels.  Average feet to field and works around ball.  Average carry and accuracy with 79 mph arm strength.
