On Sunday, October 18, 2020; PBR Minnesota is headed to the West St. Paul Athletic Center to host one of the biggest events of the year; the PBR MN Fall Upperclass. This event, exclusive to 2021 & 2022 grads, will spotlight two of the more deeper classes the state of Minnesota and surrounding region has seen in years- with a plethora of higher end un-committed prospects ready to shine.

Numerous players have made college commits who participated in this event over the last four years and this year’s roster looks to add exponentially to that total once the recruitment of the 2021 & 2022 class is complete.

Uncommitted 2021 Cooper Mollett (Edina HS) will be in attendance on Sunday, October 18th.  The 6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher last attended an event in June of 2019.  Mollett has a good projectable frame, with a ¾ arm slot that produces an 82-84 mph fastball and jumps on hitters.  It will be interesting to see where Mollett’s development has taken him over the last 16 months.

Ranked 32nd overall in the Minnesota 2022 Class Rankings is Ethan Loss.  The right-handed hitting shortstop was impressive at the Preseason Underclass event back in March.  Loss has a nice athletic frame, standing in at 6-foot, 170-pounds.  He is a 6.87 runner, has 82 mph arm strength and 86 mph exit velocity.  Offensively Loss is raw in the box showcasing a bigger body load and flashes above average bat speed.  Defensively he has active feet, clean hands  and a strong arm with the ability to make plays.  Loss is one to keep eyes on and see if he can continue to build on his last performance.

A South Dakota making the trip to West St Paul Sunday is 2022 RHP Trey Sejnoha.  From Brandon Valley HS, Sejnoha showed well back in February at Prospect ID- Sioux Falls.  A right-handed hitting two-way player was solid on the mound last winter.  Sejnoha delivered a fastball that topped at 85 mph and sat 81-82 mph consistently.  He threw both a slider and curveball for strikes and had a good feel for his change-up.  Although he had good swings in the box, his strength comes from the mound which pushed him to be the #55th overall ranked player in the 2022 class.  We look forward to seeing the progression from Sejnoha this coming Sunday.
